  I read reviews of this rental location and didnt take it seriously. Unfortunately, This Rental location is nothing but bad news. 1. Rebtal cars are in very poor condition. Severly dented doors Under spoilers are roughed up and you can visibly see the neglect of maintenance. Missing hub caps Stains on the seats, I mean it will gross you out. 2. Now the manager is super rude and out right liar. 3. If you want to raise your concern and call 800 customer service, they wont help you. 4. They over book so they can treat you like garbage. They dont take you and your business seriously, so why go there? Go with enterprise instead they are exactly opposite and take you as a customer and treat you with respect and dignity. Stay away from this Hertz at Hicksville!

  GREAT rental experience at the Hicksville location! It was snowing and we needed to get to the Long Island Rail Road station to take a train into Penn Station New York after dropping off the rental car. Emily graciously offered to take us to the train station. She didn't have to. She went above and beyond and we were more thankful than we were able to express to her. The other two members of her team were also very friendly and helpful. Emily and team: THANK YOU SO MUCH! It's individuals like you who deserve employee of the month recognition and awards!

  I called to ask if i was able to pick up a car at an open Location since i wasnt going to make it to their location on time and the laddy said she didnt know of any other open location very rudely, i didnt even wanna ask her any other question so i manage to make it to their location 3 minutes before closing so i tell them that they have me on file about a insurance claim and am picking up a car, so the first thing they said is that they didnt have anymore cars because it was 6pm witch didnt make any sence and i walked away. I was standing outside and i could see that the laddy that had answer the phone earlier was looking out the door laughing and i believe she was making fun of what had just happened to me. While i was out there i could see they had a bunch of cars in their lot they just didnt wana help me. They where very rude on the phone and especially in person.

  Very nice staff; polite and accommodating . Car was clean and ready. They were very prompt with their shuttle service. Absolutely no complaints.
