::Absolutely horrendous experience. I've rented many cars before but this was by far the worst quality and service. First I was taken inside a hotel into a room in the back where the office is. The car I had requested was the sole viehcle there, this any problems I may experience could not be fixed. So I got the keys, made my way through the hotel to the parking lot to make my way out with the car. Upon entering the car, it was clear the car was not cleaned. There were empty drink cans littered inside, the steering wheel was sticky, the gas tank was empty (while my receipt said otherwise). The longer I was inside the viehcle, the more disgusted I was. So I attempted to call the Hertz office, went back physically, there was no one there. Upon waiting 15 minutes next to the employee's car, he showed up. Once I explained him the situation, his response was, do you want me to clean it? Given there was no other car, I waited another 15 minutes for him to clean it up. He returned after vacuuming the car as best he could.

::I was hesitant to rent from this location after reading the reviews but I did it and I did have a good experience. The office is very small and there is only one employee. I called a head of time to make sure there is a car available and by the time I got there, Robert had my car ready; he drove to another Hertz location to get me a car. In addition, when I returned the car, I arrived 1 hour earlier than my drop-off time. I called and Robert answered and came promptly. Good Luck!

::Horrible, incompetent person who is operating this office. Never answers, always says he doesn't have ANY cars available. Its a car rental place..if you don't have any cars, what good is this business?? I went through my insurance for reservation. Got a shitty car after waiting for a full day and numerous phone calls. The car got a malfunction light on the dashboard after a week. Guy never replaced the car, never answered calls. Had the insurance agent contact the location and he got hung up on 3 times after which the Hertz agent just stopped answering calls. Word of advice: NEVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE INCOMPETENT FOOLS RUNNING THIS PLACE.

::Horrible service; when I arrived to pick up the first rental car, he wouldn't unlock the door at first because I hadn't set up an appointment. My understanding was that the Crystal City location, who sent me there, had taken care of it. Then when he went to retrieve the car, I had to leave the office and sit on a table for about 20-30 minutes until he came back. The fun with Hertz didn't stop there. About two weeks later, the car's tire became shredded and when I limped to a stop (I had a job interview), it took three phone calls to get some help and they asked if I could change the tire. No tire or tire on or anything. After about an hour and 15 minutes a tow truck came, and off we went to Dulles. After jumping people in the line behind me ahead of me, it took almost an hour and a half to get a car--they were not pleasant and told me they didn't like to exchange cars from "private" Hertz offices at the airport. I don't care about their processes; I missed my second job interview that day because of them. Then when I found the replacement car, I had to find someone to show me how the seats worked; luckily, some random worker was passing by and after sighing loudly, showed me. Not pleasant at all.
