::I booked a car rental in downtown San Diego from Hertz and prepaid for it. I had estimated a 10 am pickup because I wasn't sure of the exact time. We ended up grabbing brunch in the morning. We arrived around 12:15 pm and found that the only Hertz employee was out to lunch so there was nobody there to help us. We waited until 1 pm when then employee returned only to find out that the car had been given away because apparently we didn't pick it up within 2 hours of our estimated time. This was done without any sort of call or anything. They had no car for us even though I had been charged. The guy told me that I would be refunded. As of 26 days later, I have still not been refunded. We ended up having to leave as they had no car for us. The employee did not make any attempt to help us at all. Horrible experience!!!!

::The best customer service from Steven at hertz Manchester Hyatt San Diego, we had a delay with our pick up and a location issue but dealing with Steven made it so stress free, he was so helpful and we had the best day ever in the car he organised for us! Can't wait to return to San Diego and rent another car! Thanks Steven I'm sure you will remember us!

::I reserved a car 3 days in advance and came in to find they did not have that car available. It was a convertible I reserved to celebrate a wedding anniversary and needless to say that was not a good start for a celebration. The Hertz rep did not make the slightest effort to help in finding an available convertible perhaps at other Hertz locations and promised to call me as soon as one was available. Never heard back from him...
