Easy to set up training and a great training experience. We have used Hero for Life for our last three re-certifications and we couldn't be more pleased with the instruction or with the ease of scheduling. Thank you!

still waiting on CPR cards from 9/28/16! Not ok, have called multiple times. People who have taken this class need their cards!

I don't know if I caught them at a bad time or what.. I needed to get my BLS certification and signed up for a class with Hero for Life. When heading to the class at 9 AM on a Saturday, I received a call that the class was canceled due to a family emergency. Completely understandable, these things come up. I was told that I would receive a call to reschedule my class in about a day. I never received a call. Several days later I called to try and reschedule the class. Keep in mind that I was on a time crunch to get my BLS. I called several times and there was no answer and voicemail was full so I could not leave a message. I sent an email to try and reschedule and received a response from Brian that there was a makeup class on Wednesday night. I told him that I would attend this class. I show up to the class and they acted surprised as if I was not on the class schedule. However, the class itself went very smooth and was informative. Upon completion of the class, after I took my test I was told that there were no more BLS cards and that they had to order more. I was assured that I would be sent a PDF copy immediately and the real card would soon be mailed to me. A couple weeks passed and I had not received anything, PDF or physical copy. I sent an email to Brian to inquire and did not hear anything back. After not hearing anything for a week I called Brian who rudely told me that they still had not received the cards and that they are on back order. He told me to send him an email and he would send the card in a PDF. I told him I did already sent him a email one week ago. He did send me the card via email but my name was spelled wrong on the card (seriously I took the class AND have an email trail with my name in it...) I immediately replied telling him my name was spelled wrong. No response. I desperately emailed his business partner with whom I took the class with asking for another copy as my name was spelled wrong. No response. This was now cutting it very close to the deadline for my BLS certification and I still had no proof that I took the class, almost a month ago. I sent another email to Brian pleading with him to send my card with my name spelled right and finally I got it. No apology or anything. It was a very stressful experience for me. I took the class about 5 months ago now and never did receive the actual card in the mail. The class was good but working with these people outside of that was an absolute nightmare, very poor customer service. I will not use them again.

My husband and I renewed our CPR and 1at Aid training with Hero this past summer. We both left feeling like we'd learned something new. The instructor was very specific about making sure each person in the class was really grasping the procedures (even with the VERY full class that I attended.) I've had several phone interactions with Brian and he has been very helpful and courteous every time. Local and friendly business. Well worth the patronage.
