  It,s a nice park, but the parks department really doesn't do a good job with the maintenance of the grass and tree's

  Nice park, great views, 3 stars cause is under construction for a year, can't access those areas.

  Great and clean. Absolutely a good place to relax on the grass. Can't grill but can bring your own cooked food...

  McNeil park is in a beautiful location right next to the Long Island sound. It is clean and open with lots of fresh air. However, it needs a new waterfront walkway and for a few years there has been little funding for much needed repairs. The only solution taken by parks and recreation or the city is to fence the walkways. This park has so much potential for the neighborhood residents that it is frustrating to witness inaction.

  Beautiful waterfront park with walking paths and views of the Manhattan skyline and Whitestone bridge. Lots of hills and old mature trees make this a great place for picnics. I grew up playing in this park. Not much had changed and that's a good thing!
