  Overpriced. To expensive for my cello's broken scroll. Mr. Herman said it would cost $500 dollars. Instead, I left his shop and went somewhere else where I got it done for $85 and got better quality. I would recommend you don't go to this store. Mr. Herman is unnegotiable and rude.

  A gem of a violin shop, David has a beautiful and carefully selected variety of instruments and bows, and the shop has a pleasant cozy atmosphere. I got my first full-size violin there, and though I now live on the west coast and have frequented many other violin shops, I've continued to return here for the past 10+ years when seeking an upgrade or repairs. Call ahead to make sure David is available.

  Very comportable place, has no shop sign but always crowded.
