  Best dental experience I have had. Everyone was so nice and the dr is phenomenal-- made sure I was always comfortable during procedures, is extremely thorough, and explains everything he's doing to you

  I first came to this practice when I had neglected my teeth in grad school and required substantial dental work. Dr. Jacobs took care of me and my teeth have been excellent since. Not one cavity! I used to have anxiety about going to the dentist, but I no longer dread it. I love the office staff, and Dr. Jacobs and Dr. Schneider are skilled, professional, and easy to talk to. 10 years later, I have sent friends and family, and my almost 2 year old will be going to them as well. Nobody enjoys getting dental work, but Dumont Dentist makes this necessary task as painless and enjoyable as possible. Thank you!

  First Class Dentistry! After a terrible experience with another dentist I was referred to Dr. Rachel Jacobs at Dumont Dentist. During our initial appointment, she correctly assessed that I had an undetected root canal from my previous dentist and referred me to Dr. Jeffrey Chen, a superb endodontist, to complete the procedure. After the root canal Dr. Jacobs installed my new post and temporary crown. In a few days, I will return to have the permanent crown placed. In between procedures she completed a color matched filling on another tooth. Dr. Jacobs is efficient, thorough, and I truly appreciate her time management. The administrative team are always professional, courteous, and detail-oriented. Thanks for all that you and your team do!

  A $49.00 coupon is what brought me into this office and it was time for a cleaning. I just moved here from San Francisco, and it had been six months since I had a cleaning. However, during my visit which I thought would be just a cleaning, and no x-rays because I recently had x-rays in CA, I was told that I might have gum disease and if so, I would not be able to get a cleaning until I went to a specialist for my gums. The first thing Dr. Schneider did was poked at my gums, but right before that, he warned me that there might be some high numbers which would mean that I have gum disease. Dr. Schneider read out loud the numbers to his assistant. For 20 years while I lived In San Francisco, I went to an extremely thorough young Vietnamese husband and wife dentist and I was never told I had gum disease. She measured my gums and read out loud the numbers to her assistant and they were never in the 6s and 7s. My gums never bleed and in fact, my SF dentist told me I was doing good with flossing and using the water pick regularly. So as a result of my experience today, I am reluctant to do anything. Little did I know that I would spent $49.00 on x-rays (I never wanted to begin with) and poking at my gums instead of getting the cleaning I so wanted, and the one thing that brought me to this new office. Looks like I'm going to have to go back to my San Francisco dentist on my next visit.

  I had chipped and cracked a couple of teeth and we decided on veneers and bonding to fix my smile. I was a little nervous they might look too big or obvious but knew that there was only one dentist I could trust to make it right. My teeth are perfect! Completely natural looking and feeling and no down time at all for pain or discomfort. Truly love my smile now! Also, I have been going to Dr. Schneider since I was a young child and I've never had a cavity. I brag about my teeth because of Dr. Schneider. Thanks again!
