  One of the worst places ever. Rich wise is a very mean person. Job B never helped at all. The town guys sucks and is terrible to there employees. Do not ever work for the Town 😡😡😡😡😡😡

  I am a disabled veteran ,,I pay a lot of property taxes, I went to the salute to veterans at lido park last night. When I phoned for informaton,I was told that it was free and free parking ,as I exited the loop pkwy Iwas directed to the entrance of the park ,I was then charged $10 to park as they said I got there to early mind you im a 50 year town of hempsteaf resident ,I then went to the office to complain and said that what I was told on the phone ,the person answering those inquires on the phone thought it was funny and started to laugh . I dont think that's funny I said ..I put on a khaki suit served 5 yrs in the U.S.M.C. not to be laughed at. They said no solictations ,but the Americam legion was selling raffles , whern I called a head and asked about swing bellys barbecue ,they informed me that its for all veterans and a donation would be in order...fine ,but when I got there they changed it to Vips only and selected county conected people not veterans .how outragios! The concesion stand s rakes you over the coals ,and then they said that they will start at 8.30 ad that nobody can leave until lthe fireworks are finsihed ....at point I left after being there a few hours. I picked myself up anf left and went home. They coined it a salute to veterans .but in reality it was to to County Vips I think it was illegal to keep people in the park who choose to leave ?. You'll never see me there again.I called to complain and they just tow,the company line, no satisfaction, the disabled Veteran and 50 year town of hempstead resident dont mean anything ,bottom line the Vips not the veteran is what its all about..stay home it's a matter of principle if They return the $10 will donate it to veteran causes.
