  HORRIFIC customer service. Butchered 2 dresses. Please read the bottom. I took 3 dresses to be altered. Two needed the straps pulled up and one was a bridesmaids dress that needed major alterations (taken in in the bodice and the length altered). One dress came back fine. The other two did not, a navy one and a black bridesmaid dress. The navy dress came back with one shoulder perfect and the other had been altered in front of the dress. The seam was literally in front of my shoulder with the top half being smaller than the bottom so it looked completely off. The bridesmaids dress length was fine however, the bodice was still way to big. They had also taken out stitching, I assume to alter it, and not replaced the stitching so the rauched fabric was left hanging. I went back with both dresses and had the owner refit me. She told me she could fix the first dress but the bridesmaids dress... there was nothing she could do. She told me repeatedly that my breasts are just too big and my waist too small and this could not work. She also suggested I go without a bra because my breasts were nice. I told her this was not an option and I've had similar dresses tailored perfectly with this same bra. To give some contact, I am a rather large cup size and going bra-less is just not appropriate, especially for wedding pictures. She said she could at least re-do the stitching that she had taken out and agreed to reimburse me $38 for the bodice of the dress. When I went back for the 3rd time, the navy dress had been fixed so it was passable but the seam was still very out of place and did not match the other shoulder. She told me she had re-done the bridesmaids dress bodice. The only problem was, she never pinned the dress on me! I tried both on for her and the bridesmaids dress did not even zip up! Somehow a size 12 dress (I wear a size 4) went from literally falling off me to not even zipping up! She told me it would be fine and shrugged her shoulders. She also did not replace the stitching she promised me she would. I now need to take this to another seamstress to have it taken out. I told her she had to pay be back for my navy dress; while it is wearable, it does not look right and the fabric around her alterations is damaged. I showed her my receipt and she agreed to pay me back the $203. When I went to take my dresses off the rack and go home, I could not find the navy dress. After looking around for a good 5 minutes, I found it rolled in a ball behind the register. She told me I could not take it home since she paid me for it. I told her no, it's a dress for my brother's wedding in 4 days (which she has known all along). She then said "take it and get out of my store, I don't want to see your face". I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

  Reliable, friendly, and centrally located. Best dry cleaner I have found close to center city. One time they sewed a button on for me while I waited. Solid place.

  I would not even give this place 1 star. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I brought 3 dresses in to get hemmed. I specifically said that I had a wedding this weekend I would just need the one finished by Saturday. This was Tuesday. The lady said that she could do that. I also had a stain on the dress I needed for this weekend and she said that she could get that out. I asked about another dress if she could take it in on the side, and she said I am just going to leave it. Its clearly in need to be taken in and she just would not take it in. I went today to pick it up she never dry cleaned the dress. I still had to pay for it, which was by far over priced. Plus she did a poor job on the hem. It looks like she did nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Awful customer service, and awful job. Helen you should be ashamed.
