::Lousy instructors. Very disappointed with their level of service and professionalism. Not only is Sensai Perez rude, he's not pationate about his craft, he's only there for the money.... If you have young elementary age children ***BEWARE*** don't even waste your time

::I love love love this dojo. My children come to train here. My son is 8, started when he was 5. My daughter is 5 and she started when she was 4. They both love it. The price is fair. My kids can go and train from 2 days per week (requirement) up to 3-4 days (depending on how advanced they are). Adults also go to classes. I'm not enrolled, but I did take karate many years ago and Heijoshin Dojo beats that place hands down!! It's family owned and you get the feeling like you are a part of they're family. Everybody is very welcoming and warm. The skills my children have learned is incredible. Not only do they teach them self defense but they also learn about respect, how to treat other people and how other people should treat them. My son had a bit of a bully. They helped him get through that situation. They allow you to take a class at no charge to see if you would like to continue. Big plus in my book-I didn't know if my daughter wanted to do the ballet thing or the karate thing, we figured it out without dishing out $! This is the place to go if you and/or your kids are wanting to have fun and learn alot!

::The dojo is an amazing place. From children to adults, they give all students a great foundation!

::I have been training with Sensei's Rob and Paula for over 20 years. They have a realistic approach to teaching and the diverse student base is a testament to the friendly and cooperative atmosphere at the dojo. Students progress at their own pace and this is definitely NOT a dojo where you simply pay a fee and get rank. Whatever rank you hold at this dojo is earned, for sure. You would be hard pressed to find a team more dedicated to their students success.

::The senseis at Heijoshin Dojo are fantastic. I've learned so much in the past year and a half. Just about my whole family goes there from my 7 year old niece to my 68 yewar old mother. The senior students are supportive and always willing to help. I cannot say enough good about everyone at Heijoshin Dojo.
