  Unfortunately I lost yet another cardiologist to the increased workflow of the LA area and the field of medicine. Dr. Hwong will be missed, but my first appointment with PA "Jerry" went just as smoothly! He was professional, delivered all the information and results I was expecting, and got me out of their in a timely manner. I am happy to report that my satisfaction with the medical attention I receive at Heart Vascular and Leg Center continues to be superior. The only complaint is wait times when trying to call them, usually rings too many times during hours they are supposed to be open. Then sends you to a computer operator, where I have waited 10 to 15 minutes for someone just to answer. This to me is unacceptable. I realize it is a busy office, but nearly 20 minutes before even getting a real person on the line really makes me avoid calling them all together.

  Hospital cardiologist said I need to have surgery after my heart attack. I was stressed out. Selena, NP and Dr Fong assured me we could take care of my heart without surgery. They have given me good care and regular follow-ups to make sure my heart is getting stronger. I can't thank them enough.

  Gerry seems to know what he is doing. He gave me some compression socks to wear. Disappointed in this. No measuring or fitting. They were toeless, very uncomfortable, and too tight.. I went back to try to get some with toes. Told they cannot do that but he told me what level of compression to get. Should have just written a prescription in the first place. For 3 months daily they should be fitted to me!!!!

  I have been going here to this office for a bit now and the staff are courteous and professional. I have been receiving medical procedures and am half way done and so far so good. I can't wait to be done and will be seeing some results ( at least I hope I will !) Now, regarding Dr. Huang, I've only seen him once and he seems to be nice. He is very energetic and probably the most energetic doctor I've came across in my lifetime lol! Nothing wrong with that!
