::Every time I step in the Health Center, I feel that the ambiance of the place is always off. I go up to the people at the desk and the ladies are very mean, especially these two ladies. I don't like the fact that they are the first people I see going into the Health Center because it just makes my day feel bad. When I try to be specific about having a doctor's appointment or about my insurance and or why I came to visit the Health Center, they correct me in the most insincere tone and automatically make me feel like they degraded me as if they knew everything. I met up with the nurse my last visit before going to the doctor that day and when I asked her if I should keep my mask on, she viciously said with some chuckle in her voice, "Girl, you better. I don't want your germs all over me. I don't want what you have, uh uh." I understood what she meant, but I just had hoped she said it in a nicer tone. And when doing my eye exam with her, she kept irritating me because she was acting so unnecessarily rude as I performed the exam. Then came the doctor who did not understand my symptoms. I was just sitting there like he is a doctor...he should know what my symptoms lead to what I have. I just felt so betrayed by the Health Center because the one person I thought I could trust (the doctor), didn't even give me advice for what I should do next and was unsure of what I had...even though it must have just been a cold or fever. It made me feel as though he did not consider my time there as I had other complications I was worrying about in my sickness. He just told me he didn't know if I had the flu, cold, or fever; he gave me a prescription; and he called it a day after 10 minutes of my visit there. I at first did not mind spending that much money for my visit at the doctor's appointment, because the Health Center did not accept my insurance, upon scheduling the appointment since I really needed to make sure I did not have any other virus in my body. But after that visit, I have never advertised any facility as one of the worst facilities to visit especially on campus. If there is no change in how the Health Center acts, I will continuously have no respect for them and endorse the Health Center as one of the places no one should ever visit on campus because they make the Auraria Campus look very unpleasant. I have visited the Health Center various times for different situations but felt the need to write the review only now as my last visit topped it off. I don't even want to give a 1 star for the Health Center, half a star is enough for how they treat the students, staff, and faculty on campus as I've heard from others. I did not realize how many of their patients were treated with the same disrespect as I did there.

::This is the best comprehensive care I've ever had. The staff is phenomenal and as a student at MSU, the convenience of having health care available on campus is invaluable.

::I feel so fortunate to have had the health center during grad school! I had been to about half a dozen doctors over a two year period and Dr. Lorenzo was the first one who I felt actually took me seriously. After a long few years of symptoms, he ran a slew of blood tests which ultimately lead to a celiac diagnosis. I'm so grateful!

::The ER department is absolutely the worst I've ever encountered.

::This has been a savior for me as a student. I have been able to walk in or make an appointment the day before I needed to come in. They are fast and eager to help. I broke my wrist and was able to come in the day after the accident and get a cast.
