  The chicken was pretty good, hot and fresh. It's always packed because its a new place. The greens and the mac and cheese is good. The baked beans are good and I didn't like the potatoe salad. Also, you can request to have no pickle with your chicken.I wish Hattie B's had a drive through! This is a nice restaurant. You should definitely try it!

  Our first ever experience at Hattie B's and we have no regrets. We arrived just early enough to only wait a limited amount of time. The speed of the line was good and the servers were awesome considering the continuous crowd. We ordered the large dark meal and enjoyed EVERYTHING we had. Even had room for dessert. The peach cobbler is divine. Also I'm happy they serve beer because you can't beat good chicken and beer! We will definitely be returning soon.

  It was a long wait in line, but totally worth it and understandable. All elements of the food delivered. My only criticisms are that the place is packed full and that the sweet tea and lemonade are not southern style sweet or strong, but hey just get some of the other coke products. The chicken is amazing. We tried the hottest, "shut the cluck up" and upon first bite, it wasn't hot. Lies!!! I needed every bit of drink I had. The coleslaw was the only thing that saved me. Also tried the "hot" and "damn hot" and they weren't too bad, but u can taste the spice in all of them. For sides, the pimento mac and cheese taste exactly as named, tasty though. The savior of all is the coleslaw. Coleslaw keeps the heat from killing you and I highly reccomend it. All chicken is served with bread. The breast and wing come in one piece as do the leg and thigh. The skin is nice and crispy and holds well in whatever sauce you choose. Hattie B's is truly worth the money and the time. Definitely going again.

  Good chicken, but not as good as Gus's. Not as moist, but still very good. The sides are really good though - those are better than Gus's for sure. Happy to have another good chicken option in midtown. I waited a total of 2 hours for food. I won't eat there again until the lines die down. Too many other good options around to wait that long.

  If you are trying to decide if Hattie B's is worth the wait for the long lines I would say yes. The fried chicken and chicken tenders were delicious. Medium was plenty hot for me. If you only want slightly hot definitely get mild. The mac and cheese and baked beans are excellent sides. The banana pudding was very tasty. Everyone who worked there wanted to help me and they were all very friendly. I would definitely go back again.
