::Formerly several museums, the contents of which were combined to provide a comprehensive and insightful collection of artworks from around the world. There are impressionist masterpieces alongside ancient works from China and Japan, alongside lush medieval European scenes and experimental, darkly phantasmal German and Norwegian paintings. I highly recommend the cafe, which is lovely and vibrant, with a varied selection and delightfully eccentric specials.

::It was a really nice and huge museum. A must do when you visit Boston and I get the chance to get in there for free every last Thursday of each month there's is an event with food and beverages and to know new people 😀. The museum is really big so you have to plan what you are going to do during your visit because it's impossible to go through everything. Personal workers are also so nice and helpful

::Thank you for making this accessible to all with free admission on Sundays. My daughter and I were visiting Boston from Florida for the weekend and we stayed in the Cambridge area. This was on my daughter’s to do list while here. Our flight was delayed on Sunday, so we were able to spend a good three hours here before heading to the airport. They have a coat check, lockers and a luggage hold which were very convenient! Thank you again.

::Excellent medium-size collection covering a lot of ground in a funny haphazard way. You can find threads that bring together the different parts of the museum, and still enjoy the jumps in styles and epochs, geographies, cultures, and media. Highly recommended the museum nights on the last Thursday of the month (free entry, beer and food in the main court--not free but at fair prices--and music). It gets busy, though!

::It’s pressure experience to able back after so long times. Everything was nice and well organized with lovely helpful staff. I booked my tickets online in advance. When I entered there were ready facemask and hand sanitizers. It was optional to wear it but most of the visitors were wearing it or at least social distance. The museum has free locks, everywhere possibility to scan QR code for tour information, map, place exhibition. They are having handicap entrance, elevators and they are borrowing walkers, wheelchairs or just mobile seats. So the museum is really open and accessible for everyone.
