::I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! I rented over $300 worth of plants for a party twenty minutes away. They charged $150 for delivery and pick up. Two days prior to event, I called and confirmed delivery. I scheduled a noon delivery. The day of the event, I called at one and they weren't aware of a delivery??!! Plants finally arrived an hour and a half late, pushing my scheduled day far behind. Plants looked great but don't count on good service.

::Friendly and helpful staff. Large selection, very healthy stock. Save hundreds of dollars on large plant purchases over Veterans Blvd. Nursery.

::Very disappointed. I've bought many plants, pots and items there in the last few years. Last year I bought from them a Persian Lime in early spring. I planted it along with a smaller blood orange and lemon that were gifted me that were bought from other places. All were planted in approximately in the same location and all were fertilized/watered/treated the same way. After this rather cold winter all of my trees came back, but the Persian Lime from Harold's had not survived. I have no idea why. Of course it never did "take off" when I first planted it while the trees from other vendors did splendidly. I went in today to let Harold's know about the issue, and since it died within the first year of purchase, to see if they would replace the tree. I was offered a 10% discount on a new tree and nothing else. I'll be buying plants from other vendors from now on. If they won't be loyal to their local customers I don't see why I should be loyal to them.

::Harold's is always fun to visit. They have a great selection of plants and a friendly, knowledgeable staff. The cats don't seem to care that you're there, but I my self-esteem isn't low, so I am cool with it.

::Given that Iβm in the middle of planting a garden, I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time at nurseries and home improvement stores. Haroldβs is both the closest to my house and overall my favorite place to go for overall plant selection as well as garden accessories (e.g. planters, fountains). For being tucked in on a street along the tracks, they have a surprisingly large selection and a nice setup. Friendly, helpful staff as well.
