  The vibe is pretty cool, and the servers are very nice. Outdoors area is lovely in the summer. The food is solid, nothing to write home about but definitely tasty. Wide variety of drinks, just fair warning that the on tap selection is pretty limited (and the two beers I got there were both pretty flat). Cans and cocktails were great though!

  Can I just say I've been here too many times to not have left a review and that makes me kind of a d***. Anyway, normally consistency is key for a bar/restaurant to do well....that is NOT the case with Hard Times. Somehow, by some miracle, every time I order and eat the vegan cesaer salad it gets better and better. God and the pastafarian spaghetti monster leader as my witness, it is the most delicious thing you will ever taste - vegan or not. Amen.

  The Monday burger & beer special $10. I have found cheeseburger Mecca, and it is in Bushwick / Brooklyn / NYC at Hard Times Christmas Liquors at the Sunset Bar. For those wishing to have the best burger on this planet, it is right here. The brew is a big bonus. What a cheeseburger, and I have had them all. I may have to relocate from Chicago, just to be near. Kudos Chef. You got game.

  Love the transformation. Hard Times is the neighborhood bar/lunch spot that bushwick desperately needed. Montana's was great but it was just a bit pricey for regular visits. The new menu is AWESOME, delicious burgers and sandwiches, great beer for even better prices. Definitely our go-to lunch spot in the hood. R.I.P. Montana's, long live Hard Times!
