  I was in San Diego for a conference and decided to get a massage. Happy Head was close to my hotel so I decided to try it out based on the good reviews. Cons: If you have never had an Asian massage before be warned that it uses very deep hard pressure. The man doing my massage did not speak English so when I asked for lighter pressure that it was too hard and was hurting he didn’t understand. The front desk person interpreted for me but the pressure never really let up when he was doing my back and neck. The next day I am still achy and sore from the massage. There is a foot soak (in water) but it starts out warm and comfortable but soon your feet are dangling in cool water which is not very pleasant. There is not an explanation of the full massage; it would have helped if I knew that my full back (and buttocks) were going to be massaged after my legs. This was done fully clothed but the buttocks part was uncomfortable. Pros: the place was clean and neat. The common massage room was quiet was nice music. The price is good for 60 minutes. The leg/foot part was fine. The front desk girl offered me a $5 coupon since I wasn’t happy with the massage hurting. I didn’t take it since I am not local and would not use it Overall for me I wouldn’t return, too sore today to make it a worthwhile experience. If the leg/foot massage was offered on its own without the back/neck and face I might recommend it.

  I tweaked my foot, so I got the foot, etc. massage. The first thing they did was try to upsell me to a much more expensive massage. I declined. They said that they would ask my guy to focus on my hurt foot, but he didn't really. All said, the massage itself was pretty good. Would give 4 stars if the overall customer experience had been better.

  Fantastic experience! I was very satisfied. I have neck and back stress from my desk job that it really helped. I had John who hit all the spots with the perfect pressure. I had a 90 minute deep tissue. I like it deep! I loved the head and foot massage. Cash only tip, give it directly to your therapist after. There is an ATM on site. My only feedback is I prefer the attached headrest to the hole in the table they had. The pressure gets uncomfortable on my throat. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back since the stress never ends!

  So I was looking for a good massage for a good price and boy did Happy feet meet my needs. I made my appt online as recommended per other reviews. I paid using my credit card but stopped at the ATM to get some cash for a tip (also as recommended) Only thing was I didn't have time to break the $20. Once I arrived the Receptionist checked me in and went over the services that they offer in case I decided to try something else besides the Deep Tissue Massage I booked for. I thanked her and told her that the Deep Tissue massage would be good enough for me. She then explained to me the process of how she would be taking me into a private room for My Deep tissue Massage. As she opened the door to the main room There was about 10 massage chairs in a big open room with 2 of them being occupied by customers who were getting there $39 Happy Massage (Which I heard is awesome, but only 30 mins). The receptionist then explained to me that the masseuse would be joining me in my room after I undressed then lay under the 1st sheet on the massage table The Receptionist will offer to break any bills for change to tip your masseuse after your massage your Masseuse will greet you at the front desk with a glass of water, (this is when you tip). The rooms were very clean and the ambience was peaceful, There was soft listening music playing throughout the building with the dim lighting I found it to be very tranquil. My Masseuse came in and proceeded to move my arms above my head and then started in on my shoulders. The massage was a deep tissue massage that was 1 hour long it was worth every darn cent. I'll be back there for another massage before my 7 for 7 offer expires. (get $7 off your next full body massage within 7 days of your 1st visit.
