  I was appalled when I walked into Handy Pantry last night to get a bag of dog food and I was asked to leave my pocketbook in the front of the store. I felt I was being discriminated against because I was a black female walking into a store close to closing. I observed other people walking into the store with large bags and shopping and being asked to leave their personal bag in the front of the store with strangers. My pocket looks like a miniature book bag but I continuously repeated to store personnel that this bag you are referring to is my pocketbook with my money and personal belongings. I was really upset about situation. I understand in stores they ask you to leave bags in front but never your pocketbook. Crazy mixed up world!!!
