::This parade is one of it's kind. You will see lot of people walking in the parade with halloween costumes. You may get obstructed view if you do not go there very early. During this time, it will be very cold (especially as this goes till night). So be fully packed in your winter clothes, coats etc. If you are lucky, you may click some snaps with people dressed in the costumes.

::Great experience.

::Halloween a NYC reste un incontournable. Malgré les attentats, la parade est restée fidèle à elle-même

::Best Time of the Year. And on Halloween this is the best place to be. Enjoy the 44th Annual Halloween Parade.

::Ancient Rome had Caligula's bacchanals and New Yorkers, we have the Village Halloween Parade. An incredible three hour spectacle of community, creativity and catharsis. The Best and only place to be for the ultimate game of mutually participatory people watching. That being said you don't just go for the costumes and the antics. The village Halloween parade by some unknown alchemy converts the static neurosis of everyday life into pure childlike excitement. Winter is coming ..literally. This is our last hurrah! So wear that esoteric costume that only one out of 500 people will recognize. Bring inconspicuous drinks. Brace for barricades that will make absolutely no sense whatsoever. You're embarking on an adventure in the most exciting city in the world!
