  One of the local instances of Half Price Books. If you’re buying, there’s a decent selection of best sellers and recently popular books. However, considering how close they are to the Universities, they are relatively deficient in the classics. I get it: Poetry, Philosophy and Religion don’t sell, so why maintain more than a skeleton of a section? If you are selling, expect unapologetic pennies on the dollar for pretty much everything except current NYT bestsellers. This particular location has been inconsistent in what they designate as token / “will recycle.” Everybody knows you’d do far better to put your books on a table in front of your house for a dollar each. Or donate them to a local literacy program. Parking and the entrance are in the back.

  There is always a great selection of used books. The store is always well kept and very quiet, which is nice when trying to select a book. Parking for this location can be found in the back, you can get through by the delis entrance off of Broadway.

  Brought in pickup truck loaded with books from non-profit resale store closing. Half Price accepted, sorted, and counted all. Gave me set rate for all even tho some would be donated back out. Left with cash in hand! Also found missing books from a series I had been seeking for a VERY long time & at a reasonable price! Left extremely happy for myself and the non-profit agency!!!

  This bookstore is fantastic! I wish they would not have taken the table and chairs away in the kids section. There is little seating if you are sampling books. Don't forget to check the upstairs for more great deals. The store website is very user friendly and you can order books from any of their locations, straight to your home. Staff is friendly and eager to help. Pets on a leash are welcome here🐕🐩🐶

  The owner was very friendly. I didn't even know there was a second floor until my brother-in-law told me after my visit. I picked up a volume on poetry for him. There is an amazing number of volumes here. I picked up a Doonesbury anthology, several fantasy paperbacks, and a book by Strobel. If you are looking for an old volume, this would be a great place to check. His organization is terrific.
