  I needed a new washing machine because the transmission went out in mine. I didn't want a new washer, because the government has gotten involved and the new washers do not fill the washer up with water. I had one of the newer HE washers, and honestly it did not get our clothes clean. As dirty as my sons get their clothing, we are actually going to need WATER to get them clean. So I knew I couldn't buy a new washer at the big box stores. I also didn't want to spend $800-1,000 on a washing machine either! I looked around at a few used appliance stores and also on Craigslist. I found the Craigslist washers were too expensive compared to the ones at Half Price Appliances. I found a nice clean Maytag washing machine that I purchased. Better than that, it came with a 90 day warranty! I could have opted to have it delivered, but I just showed up with my pickup truck. The man loaded it up for me and strapped it down. I am happy with my purchase! They also had ranges, dryers and refrigerators. It's really great that they can refurbish appliances to keep them out of landfills as well as save you some serious money! It's a win win!!
