  Horrible! Their customer service was the worst I have seen. I was there in the evening when it was not busy but the two workers there completely ignored me as they worked on their delivery orders. If they had just said “we will be right with you” or something, I would have been fine. They didn’t act like they were in a hurry either, which was equally frustrating because they had the time to greet me, but they didnt. After asking them and again waiting a while, they started my order. By this time, the lettuce I wanted was gone with the other delivery order so she had to go to the back to get more. Instead of coming back, she continued to work on the delivery order and package it up. I probably waited for 10 mins total and I’m thst time they may have said one word to me, and never started my order. Also, the entire time they looked annoyed at something so eventually I just left. I am normally really patient, but their attitudes and the way they ignored me drove me nuts. I went to Just Salad instead and immediately they greeted me with smiles and welcomes, and they worked on a delivery order at the same time as mine.i was out with my order in half the time I spent awkwardly standing in Hale and Hearty Soups. Just Salad did a great job, which is more than I can say for this place.

  Getting food in Rockefeller Center between 10:35 and 11 is impossible. Hale and Hearty was our third choice primarily because they were ready to serve at 11. I got the ginger lemongrass mushrooms with vermicelli noodles. I asked if I could add a side of chicken and was told it had chicken repeatedly. I pointed out the sign says vegetarian. Another staff member agreed with me. The actual dish was very bland but otherwise ok. Friends got the sandwich and soup combo - Cajun shrimp bisque, jambalaya chicken and sausage, Broccoli cheddar, and pot roast. The Bisque was very spicy and was barely touched beyond two spoonfuls and didn't agree with my friends stomach. She got physically sick as we left the eating area. Everyone else was ok. The jambalaya and pot roast were ok but the broccoli cheddar was lacking in flavor, color, and texture.

  Be very careful if you have seafood allergies. I was given a soup with clams in it instead of what I ordered. One bite, and I had a horrible reaction. I wish that the employees were more careful - that's very dangerous.

  As a Chain all the soups are the same and consistent. The customer service here is very good. Staff knows this is a high traffic and high volume store, so they do there best to get you in and out. Staff is super friendly and professional. My only negative is during peak hours 12 to 2:30pm, the line management is a problem due to location of check out kiosks. Love and suggest you try the Chicken Pot Pie, Chicken Sausage Jambalaya and Chicken & Dumplings (two recipes) soups.
