::Delicious! The service was wonderful and the food was good. I feel that Hakkasan is a place that's more centered around the experience, and less about the food itself. The restaurant is exquisitely decorated, and the large full bar in the center is beautiful to look at. There's certainly a few dishes that will knock your socks off! The star of the show, in my opinion, was saved for last with the black sesame seed and chocolate dumplings. If you visit, you absolutely must try one of their desserts! We got the pork belly clay pot and sea bass for lunch. Both were good, but only get the pork belly if your don't mind fatty meat! It was a very nice experience and we'll definitely visit again!

::Hakkasan is okay for Chinese food, but rather expensive. We tried out a ton of the items on the menu, including the peking duck, wraps, macaroons, etc. - for 3 people, we spent ~$500 (drinks included). All the Chinese food tasted good, but not out of this world. I'd recommend that you go to Chinatown if you're looking for Chinese food at a better value. I would recommend going to Hakkasan purely for drinks. Their drinks are top notch and their bar is always packed after work. They make some of the best cocktails in town!

::It was good, but the portions were so small and expensive, ie. Lamb pieces with bun, they only give you 6-8 pieces size 1 inch long and 1/2 inch width for $22...hmmm....rib eye pieces $38 also portion for a 4 yr old child. I'm not arguing about the taste, but not worth going back. Service is so slow and they are forgetful, however very nice. If you go do not order fried rice it was the most disgusting taste and cheap grain I've ever tasted. High end Chinese, noway...you are paying for the posh ambiance not authenticity of food.

::Took my dad. He loved it, I loved it. We sat at the bar! The decor, bartender, food and drinks were on point. I'll hit this spot up again! For Sure

::Should be 4.5 stars. The food and atmosphere are fantastic. The food leans Cantonese high style; avoid the familiar things (like the soups which, though excellent, are not good value) and try out the more unusual items on the menu. Bonus: their vegetarian and vegan dishes--including their imitation chicken--are so good that even a dedicated bacon lover will enjoy them, as I did. The drinks were solid though leaning too heavily towards creativity over excellence. The service, meanwhile, was quite good, though it had an occasional rough spot (our waiter did not understand what I meant when I asked for a bar menu back). Atmosphere feels like a cross between Blade Runner and a 1930s Shanghai nightclub, a really distinctive place. Many other diners will be dressed casually--I recommend not to follow their example. Find the swankiest jacket in your wardrobe and dress to the nines and enjoy walking into your own personal movie set. While you're at it, make sure to bring your wallet--the dining is definitely high-priced, but on a special occasion you will never question it.
