  Great place and loved Charlie the dog! Clean and very comfortable, plus great familiar staff, again giving credit to Famous Charlie the dog 🐶 he is the best greeter in the place 😍😘

  In the area due to a family funeral. Power outage due to powerful storm hit. They stayed in contact with us even tried to book us elsewhere. Fortunately power returned and we were able stay at Heidi's a hospitable place with friendly management and staff. Would definitely return here if given the chance.

  very nice people there. the room was great and the breakfast always fresh. You can use a barbecue and a pool. We were very satisfied and would recommend it with a clear conscience.

  Great retreat for anyone without a car in NYC! Easy to pop off the Brewster stop on the Harlem line & take a quick $8 cab over. You can also bike straight here from the Van Cortland trail, which I want to do next time. I had a fantastic visit, the owners were super hospitable, it rained so they went to get firewood to have a fire. I was able to get a lot of writing done, and went for a beautiful walk along Old Milltown Rd along the reservoir.

  The best place to stay for miles! Great staff and everyone loves Charlie the dog at the front desk (including my dog). Rooms are not state of the art but adequate, comfy and clean - some with full kitchens, stay is reasonably priced, great breakfast in AM - try their oatmeal! Pool is also clean and refreshing. Very well kept grounds with a sprawling layout. I wouldn't even consider staying elsewhere.
