  Good day. My rating is based on what my fellow fire fighter friends say, because I’m still waiting for my boot (for station wear). I’m writing this because I’ve had a bad experience trying to get by boots, which were ordered for me, by a local store, on January 10th. I was initially told it would take 8-10 business days before they would arrive. 12 business days later, no boots. Just over 2 weeks after the purchase, I was called by the business’ manager, who stated he called Hiax to check the status of my boots. He was told my boots had been on back order, were just shipped, and should arrive by the end of the week (Friday of last week). I waited until the middle of this week, before going by the store to get my boots. I arrived and still no boots (employee called other store to akr sure they weren’t shipped there). Store employee also called Hiax and was told, by customer service, that the boots wouldn’t be in the warehouse for another two weeks, then it would be another week before they would arrive for me to pick them up. What I didn’t know was the same manager I spoke to called Hiax at the same time, from the other store, and was told again my boots would be shipped out by Friday (yesterday). I’ve heard nothing but great things about the boots, and I was planning on buying the fire fighter, but not so sure anymore. ———————————————————————— 02/13/2018 Dear Sir/Ma’am, I purchased the boots at Chuck’s Boots. They have two stores in the St. Louis Metro area. This all started at the St. Peter’s location. Thank you for responding to my concerns in a timely manner. ————————————————————————03/01/2018 Dear Sir/Ma’am, I haven’t heard anything back from your company, to determine if you were able to resolve my issue, or what your resolution was. No phone calls, or letter to me in reference to my concern. I would hope, for outstanding customer service, that someone from your company would have contacted me, as a follow-up, to let me know why there was an issue with my order. Thank you for your time and assistance.

  High quality German boots. A little expensive, but worth it in the long run.

  One of the best if not THE best duty boots for FD's. Excellent product. Excellent ordering process on their website as well. Very quick, efficient, and easy!

  Great customer service, and the only boots i trust to protect my feet and give me comfort... I've tried many different types, 5.11, danners, rocky, under armour... but nothing compares to the quality and comfort
