  I went to Salon 51 a few weeks ago for a haircut, and I loved my experience. I wanted to try someplace new, since I have had experiences at other salons where the stylist seems to care more about themselves and what they look like, rather than making you feel beautiful. I was so pleased with my experience at Salon 51 because not only are Anna and Hyda down to earth, friendly and welcoming, they took me under their wing and made me feel absolutely stunning. Hyda cut and styled my hair, and Anna gave me some fabulous color. These ladies know exactly what they are doing and put their full attention on you, caring about your experience, and making you feel like a million bucks. I am so grateful for them, and weeks later I am still absolutely in love with my look. They are a great team! Thank you so much ladies!!

  Everyone here is friendly, kind and experienced!They listen and they care! My color, cut and blowout are always spot on!

  Very nice people but save your money if you're black with natural or semi natural hair as I am. It hurt enough already to throw 200 bucks down the drain on a keratin treatment, and it was such a waste. And I can't say a regular blowout would've been much better. I also felt I was overcharged as my hair is texturized regularly and just barely hits my shoulder, the price range is 160 to 200 so idk how I wound up paying the highest price for the keratin treatment

  Overall this place is not that bad to get a hair cut, but there is one barber named Eyta who just ruins the whole reputation. When she did my hair I asked her to buzz the sides of my head, but the lady decides to take out a sissor and a comb and tries to snip my hair! I had to teach her how to use the buzzer which was difficult because she barley spoke English, and don't ask me how but, she ended up giving me a revers fade! Like what? How? Oh, and did I also mention that she made me wait untill 5:40 even though I made reservations for 5:00. Unbelievable. It was definetly not worth the 25$.

  I just tried this salon randomly. What a great experience! Maria and Anna fixed my color and gave so much attention to the processs. The cut is the best I've had in a long time. These women have passion for what they do, they really listen to what you are looking for and make great recommendations. I will definitely be back. Thanks Ladies!
