  The owner was very rude and unprofessional. I was not only an employee but a customer and was treated badly on both ends. She would use inappropriate langue when talking to me, and other customers. When I was experiencing death in my family she was not at all respectful of the situation not why I called off. And when o was working with PAAR and provided her my case information she told all of the employees and customer whom like me that I was lying about what I went through. I would not recommend working here nor purchasing items from here. The products are extremely overpriced and of poor quality.

  I got a retouch perm and realized i wanted jus a regular perm so i asked and told them i don’t want a refund i jus want to exchange and pay the difference, the box had never been open and i had the receipt and they told me NO!!!!!!

  2 stars only because the owner and the staff are very friendly and sociable but, this is the 3rd time I purchased close to $300.00 Remy Couture (white and black box hanging high up on the wall) hair that was trash. Each time the owner has given me advise on what to do and what not to do with the hair. This hair sheds insanely and knots bad at the nape area. Most recently she told me not to cut the weft to prevent shedding. I made sure my stylist did not cut the weft this time and still only after 3 weeks of having this hair I've brushed one fourth of it out (using a good weave brush). I braid or twist it every night and sleep with a silk bonnet but this hair is a rats nest at the nape. I am hoping she will refund me or exchange the hair but I doubt it. Fingers Crossed!

  The two sales woman were polite but the owner or manger just has an awful attitude, they have lots of hair but that attitude is what made me take my money else where because hair stores are EVERYWHERE. The owner has had this attitude forever. Save your money and go somewhere where the owner is going to actually set a good atmosphere in the store! All the other reviews portray her as bitter and she honestly is, she's nothing special to have the constant attitude she has. There are so many other hair stores this one is not worth it.

  I was hesitant to go to Hair City after reading reviews. I had a FANTASTIC Experience! The staff could not have been NICER! The young woman who helped me try on wigs was knowledgeable, honest and kind. She had wonderful suggestions and did not pry to why I was seeking a wig. I was impressed with ALL the items for sale too! I will be back!!!
