  Like many reviews said.. very upset. Paid alot of money for a horrible color job. They offered to fix it the next day..but then canceled last min as i was on the way!! Im disputing my charge.. Will post pictures of the horrible “bayalags”

  I had an AWESOME experience at Hair & Co. The staff were courteous and friendly. However, Stephen is the BEST!!! He listened to my concerns about my hair and asked me questions and answered all of mine and he gave me exactly what I wanted without comprimising the integrity of my dry and damaged hair. He is very professional and courteous. Stephen can do it all...color, cut, style and do hair extensions that lasts for two years. He recommended products and told me how to care for my hair. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STEPHEN... I found my new hairstylist.

  Super disappointed that I have to write this review. The first time I came here my stylist was great and my hair was fantastic and although it was expensive I'm willing to pay for hair that I love. I left and made an appointment for 8 weeks later to touch up the color. Unfortunately, whoever was in charge of documenting that appt did not enter it into the system. So 8 weeks later I arrive and have no appointment scheduled. Super disappointing. Having just moved to Brooklyn I was hoping this would become my regular spot, but there are many great salons in NYC and I'd rather go to one where they don't waste my time. I took two trains from work to get here just to be told I didn't have an appointment. Won't be going back.

  Really depends on the person. A senior haircutter gave me the crappiest hair cut. A junior person gave me a great one.

  Very reasonable prices for the quality and location. Emmi was very attentive, walked me through what she was doing, and gave honest and educated opinions. I did a big cut and she did great! Definitely going back.
