This place is huge and great for the U district and the Ave which has been starved for grocery options for decades. This is a proper grocery store, unlike the UW dorm one on Campus Parkway. They even have a bunch of non-grocery stuff like notebooks, trash cans, etc. Like a Target. And of course they have handy Asian and Korean grocery items.

A very convenient place to shop, but I keep on paying stuff that is different from the displayed price. It might be my fault for not meticulously read the tag, but imagine seeing “Calpico for $1.99” at 1.5L Calpico sect or “Mochi for $1.45” for set of 6? Doesn’t it intrigues you to quickly snatch them? Tbh, I admit it my fault for not reading the price tag carefully, yet I wish I don’t have to read them carefully every.single.time. I hope you guys can put some effort putting the stuff at the right place with THE right price tag (especially at the cold section, that wonton wrapper got me all the time). Please please please.

Good grocery store targeting college students, could do better with having a larger produce section and actually have a seafood section. That said, it is great to have an Asian grocery close to the university, especially all the instant noodles. Wish there could be a larger deli section for quick grab and go meals.

Good selection and prices for the area, half of the store is on the second floor. Certainly more convenient for me then hopping the train down to Uwajimaya.

It is definitely nice to have a store that carries Asian grocery near by (not to mention most of the items sold here are Korean), but do not expect this one to be the same as other H mart locations or Uwajimaya, because it is not. They have a wide selection of instant food, snacks, and drinks as well as some deli food, which is very nice. However, other stuff like meat and produces are limited here, and you might have to go some another place for that. As a side note, this place is freezing cold since there’s no door on any of the freezers..
