Their fried batter is very crispy. Spicy is the default flavor, not sure if you can order non-spicy; however, spicy is the way to go! Their price is very nice considering their location in downtown Austin. Fries and slaw are pretty good as well. Ordered 3 pieces dark (two thighs and one leg). I'll definitely come back next time.

Fantastic place. Excellent service! Owen was a great server, attentive and polite. Ordered fried pickles as app. Crispy not soggy at all. Entree was half chicken for $12? Are you kidding me? What a bargain. Plus two sides! Creamy Cole Slaw and fried Okra, both top notch. Didn't know that this is a chain? But definitely will return to their Chicago location. You gotta try this place.

The fried chicken was tender and moist. The spice and seasoning was also good. I sat at the bar and the service was fast. Took about 15 minutes to get my food on a Saturday night. Prices are decent. The 3 piece meals are very filling and around $11 without any substitutions.

The fried chicken was pretty good. The line was long but it did move in an orderly fashion and the orders did come out fairly quick for it to be super packed. My main reason for only 3 stars is because of the portion size. The thighs and drum sticks seemed like those from a baby chicken, I literally received 8 fries and 2 scoops of mac and cheese. Not to mention the sides were bland and not so impressive. Let's just say that I was still hungry after eating a 3 piece with 2 sides and a drink.

BEST FRIED CHICKEN I’VE EVER HAD! I felt I had to start with that. I’m not from the Austin area, but when I know I’m going to be up there, I start to crave it. The prices feel great for being in downtown Austin. If you can find parking, then you’re going to have a great meal. The sweet tea is done well. The spice and seasoning in the chicken is superb. It comes to your table very hot. The sides are delicious. Sometime, you’re gonna wanna save room for dessert, the pies are very good.
