::It’s pretty spacious. Internet is good (not great, but way better than other libraries I’ve been too). They have free parking! That’s awesome! Most of the staff is helpful and polite. I gave it 4 stars because there’s no actual distinction between the quiet area and the group studying areas; in both areas people talk so loud that even if you have headphones on you can listen to them and can’t concentrate on your studying/reading. Actually, the group studying area — which you are allowed to talk— is sometimes more quiet than the actual “quiet area”. But overall good. Just get a good set of earphones and play some studying-piano music and you’ll be fine.

::THIS PLACE IS A HORROR SHOW! I only come here because its the closest library. Any given weekday, every seat is occupied by a member of a group home that takes trips here and basically FORCES these group home residents to sit around and do nothing. These are special needs members and do nothing but sit and are told to shush by the monitors- how is this fun or appropriate for them?! They are of course loud as this is not an environment that stimulates them. THEN, once that passes, tutoring sessions from private tutors that for some reason don't do this elsewhere or in a study room- are held in the regular reading rooms and take place with normal voices for hours on end. The "Librarians" talk on the phone loudly and across the room to one another CONSTANTLY. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. And the concert hall downstairs always has music blasting so loudly you can hear it through noise cancelling headphone through the whole library. INSANE. This place should be reported for the special needs community neglect that essentially happens here 5 days a week and the city should really REVAMP the hiring process to get people that respect the fact that they work in a LIBRARY. I swear- these reviews must be from employees or people that have never set foot in a real library.

::Great library. Great Staff, plenty of parking and the 20 bus stops right in front and is a short walk from Tuckahoe Road if you are taking the 8. The library has a very relaxed atmosphere and can be a little noisy at times depending upon what part of the library you are in. There are plenty of computers here with internet access, including a separate computer room in addition to the computers located in the main reference area. WI FI all throughout the building for your laptop, tablet of cell phone. Staff is pleasant.

::Easy to get to with public transportation and if they don't have it use the inter-library loan system. Nicely done online access, too.
