::Best steak night in town. Tuesdays. Love the atmosphere, super relaxed and fun

::Colorful personalities abound at this Montrose area legend. There's nothing fancy about Griff's, and that's why I love the place. Good food, cold beer, frozen Jager and great people. Highly recommended.

::It took me forever to find this place. If you're not careful you'll drive right past it. This restaurant is definitely an old establishment. It's a blast from the past, American diner. The floor slabs are unstable. The tables are crooked. It's dim on the inside but the food is good and that's what matters. That's what keeps people coming back.

::Great location pub with cheap drinks and food. Not the classiest bar in town, but that is not what I am looking for when dropping in. Trivia is always a fun time, and pork chop night is a steal. You can always tell the owners care about the bar and its guests.

::Griff's is a legendary place. Houston's original sports bar, it has hosted 53 St. Patrick's day celebrations on a grand scale. Griff's is the best place in Houston/Harris County to celebrate the "Kiss me, I'm Irish" madness. The quintessential dive-bar, Griff's is just a fun place to be. Any time.
