  I've been a regular since my dad brought me here in the late 70's. I can't recommend a better sandwich or personalized service anywhere else. As a part-time uber driver, I'm always sending people in those doors (we need to keep them in business.)

  Excellent food quality and hands on ownership. Really cool and vibrant. Staff is mostly helpful but the snarky sneaky rudeness of the woman helping me was out of place.

  Been by this place a few times and never thought about going in. Sandwich was great and the red pepper focaccia bread was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised and was given a free cookie no less! I’ll be back soon

  I have lived in Oak Lawn for 2 years and never stopped into the shop. This place is perfect. The team and ownership are super friendly and the environment is casual, old school, and cozy. The fresh bread smell along with the pickle slice while you wait in line is a great touch. Get their signature named sandwich, the works (all the good stuff), basil mayo and add pickles... So good. If you live in the area and need a quick lunch choice -- I would highly recommend this place.

  Last week we ate here 3xs. This now my go to sub place. They have a great variety. Always on point whether you order at the restaurant or online, We tried it first on door-dash. Than ordered it again the next day. Then came a day later to the restaurant to order. Now here it is the next week and I'm here ordering me to eat here and also order sandwiches to take home for dinner.. The people who work here are great. They help you and make suggestions. Great atmosphere when you come in.. Best ever place. Very friendly. 👍
