  Grand Auto Collison was called by NYPD to the scene of an accident involving my car. I was told by John of Grand Auto that my car had to be towed to their yard as per New York City regulation. After they took possession of my car, the police officer at the location called me to see if the towing was taken care of. When I told them what Grand Auto said to me, he advised me that the information given by Grand Auto was not accurate and I was not obligated to tow the car to their yard which was many miles away. On the contrary, I could have my car towed to a location of my choice. The NYC police came back with lights flashing and prevented the removal by Grand Auto to their location. Instead, I was able to have it towed to a nearby location. Thanks to the NYPD for supporting my claim.
