::My daughter was sent to Labor and Deliver triage the staff bedside manner is inappropriate and not soothing to a patient or family member. The team states they are very busy which is understandable but is not contentative to the patient. I work as a Adminstrator overseeing Nurses, HHA and Personal Care staff and would not except the level of insensitivity that has been displayed. It amazing the need to say we are real busy hear. I'm looking around and it is quiet and to ask a questions seems to be cumbersome and to be received with a face of disgust is not only disappointing but concerning. I have been not only courteous and Professional but have not been received with the same courtesy. Thank you for your Hospitality Brooklyn Hospital.

::I gave birth to my son here who is almost 2. I went to the emergency room with contractions and was taken to the triage for monitoring. I was checked about 3 times for dilation and had to have a C-section. The only down side was after the surgery I was in the recovery room for almost 8hours because they were waiting on discharges. My overall stay was good all the nurses were great and helpful. During discharge was another issue, as we were supposed to leave at 12pm and left at 3pm because there weren't any available wheel chairs.

::If I could rate negative stars I would...Literally the WORSE hospital I have been to in my life. This hospital is around the corner from my job but if I ever need an ER again I will risk my life to go to another. Rude, unprofessional and confused. They mixed up my EKG, lost my urine sample, forgot me in a room and that's all before ever seeing the DR. The DR (RESIDENT) never did come to speak with me. The only time we talked is when I checked myself out! Please save your life and skip this hospital. I'm blessed to have top notch insurance, I'm scared to death to see know how they treat patients with none.

::The staff is nice but not attentive. My main complaint are the facilities . The hospital looks like it's located in a third-world country. Bathroom doors didn't lock, broken sinks (in treatment areas) were taped over, and there was a stray jar of urine in my room. Also the triage nurse didn't wear gloves when treating me and used her bare hands to pull off a thermometer shield that was previously in my mouth. Oh, and I had to interrupt the ER doc while she was eating breakfast bc she hadn't been by in two hours...her only response was "oh I was on my way over in just a few minutes." .In short, unless you're on desth's bed, find another place.

::The lack of sensitivity and disregard for patient centered care, with the exception of a few, was astounding. We were offered chemotherapy options before knowing the diagnosis, and that's just the beginning. I would recommend advanced professional Training in patient centered care before recommending a person to endure what we had to- personally. If BH would like to rectify these multiple incidents, do reach out. Thank you
