::One of the better spots in Anchorage to take your young children to enjoy the swimming, lifeguards on duty from May 24 to August 19th or so. Crushed rock sand, bathrooms, and benches. Also, a small playground and a huge field nearby with Pavillion, but you can't see the lake from here. Life jackets are also available. Sometimes you get to see moose across the lake.
