  Love love love our painting! Our dogs were getting older and I really wanted a painting. It captured our dogs' personalities beautifully. I love the bright colors. It brings a smile to my face every day.

  There’s life and movement in a painting that a photograph just can’t touch. You can definitely see it in the painting of my two dogs with my little cat in the background, as aloof as ever. Though they are all long gone, I feel their presence every time I see their portrait. Nancy so perfectly captured their personalities in their faces, their body posture and the way they are positioned, that they really are still here with me, ready to jump at my signal. They’re reminding me of how completely they loved me, of the joy and richness they brought into my life, and they still connect me to the present when I need it most. No photograph could ever do that (and I have hundreds of them). Do yourself the biggest favor of your life, and of your pet's life: get Nancy's portraits. You will never regret having it, you may very deeply regret not having one.

  These paintings have enriched my life. I own two - one of my present dog and one of a dearly departed dog. I look at them daily and sometimes get more pleasure from the painting than I do from the model. I have given two as presents, both to people who have lost their dogs. Their response was so great - tears, kisses and a slew of memories unleashed. I recommend giving yourself or a friend a great gift - one of Nancy Schutt's paintings. Susan
