  I'm an old school work out guy and like a great gym but this place is really a dump. The equipment was in poor shape and the staff all have a blank non engaged attitude. The locker room had such a foul odor. This place is not the gold's gym of the epic years of glory. The manager was a totally unhelpful and kind of dick. I was under the impression that he was a total homophobic tool.

  This is a good gym! The classes are fun and there's a great variety. Everyone was very encouraging when I was starting out. I've never had problems with getting a cardio machine. There were a couple of times when I had to wait for a weight machine, but then I just did another part of my workout. The small room with the mats downstairs is really ideal for stretching. Though I never used the showers, the locker rooms were always clean. There's a lot of competition for gyms in this particular area, but with the cost of membership and the class offerings, this is a good place to get your workout in.

  I really enjoy this gym, the staff are super friendly and helpful and they have great instructors for their exercise classes. The have a nice selection of work out equipment and a ton of weight machines. It's a very clean facility. The women's locker room is great as it has a dressing and make up station with plenty of mirrors and outlets for hair tools. They also have hair dryers, really nice showers, and a steam room. Also its not super busy in the morning or afternoon so you don't have to wait around to use the machines.

  I enjoy going to the downtown Gold' s gym. People tend to mind their own business and the staff is helpful and friendly. A good place to burn off holiday calories.
