  Poor customer service. Moved here due to my military obligation and looking to join a gym. I used the FREE PASS to check out the equipment/atmosphere and absolutely loved it. On my way out I stopped at the front desk and asked to speak with a costumer representative as I was interested in joining. The person phoned back to the customer representatives and informed them that a customer was waiting to speak with about membership. As the gentleman helping me at the front desk is on the phone, I'm looking down the hallway where the representatives' desk are stationed and make eye contact with three employees, whom two are casually conversating and the other on his cell phone...but I made eye contact. 15 minutes later, I walked out unassisted... I know I'm only ONE customer and your books won't suffer without my patronage, but this was poor service at its worst.

  Great facility with a friendly staff. Up to date equipment. This place is for everyone from beginner to Novice.

  I have spoken with a Golds Gym representative about moving and told them I will not be in the area. I informed them of this when I was reporting trip hazards and violations that were in the rest room. I was also informing them of the need to get cleaning supplies so members can clean off the equipment they use. This gym has little to no care of cleanliness. I even saw dried blood on the boxing equipment and refused to use those bags. They ensured me that they will take care of it and, for the billing, I should only see a bill for the one more month. Their affiliates "ABC" is stating I will continue to be charged until I go to the gym to fill out paper work. I was not told by the Golds gym employee about this paper work when I left. I am no longer in the area and cannot go fill out any paper work. I also cancelled my membership and find it troubling that they will try and take advantage of people like this.

  I've been a member at this gym for 12 years. Each year the gym does more and more great improvements. I can easily say this is the best gym in orange county, NY.

  My wife gave me a membership about 14 years ago and this gym changed my life. As my health improved I started to challenge myself more so I looked into some cross fit gyms but then realized I had everything I needed right here. Once I broke away from my "normal" routine and started using what was available it took my fitness to the next level. I'm proud to say at 60 I ran my first Spartan race and its because of what this gym has to offer. Best gym anywhere.
