::I have tried it several times. Most of the reviews are accurate. They need a bagels only line as sandwiches slow the whole process down. Bagels are smaller and don’t have the right combo of outer crunch and inner density i expect from legit new york bagels. Way too much air inside. Stinks because i live in the heights but Hot Bagel much matter imo.

::It takes me 7 more minutes to get to Hot Bagels. For a dozen bagels and 2 cream cheeses it is about 8 dollars more at Golden Bagels for tiny bagels. The line is inefficient. If you order a bakers dozen, they don't just put the bagels in a bag as you ask for them. You have to wait for all the sandwiches ahead of you to be made. It took me 20 minutes of waiting in line, and waiting for a bag to be filled to get 13 bagels and cream cheese. Next time, I will drive to Hot Bagels. Time evens out, even when Hot Bagels has a line.

::I went to this place last week for a bagel before heading to work. I paid $1.79 I think for an everything bagel +$2 for cream cheese. That's Probably $4 with taxes. The bagel was okay. I felt like I could get the same at the grocery store. The cream cheese had a unique taste to it(I didn't care for it) and the quantity wasn't worth the extra $2. I usually go to The Hot Bagel Shop on Shepherd and get an everything bagel, toasted with cream cheese for $2.39. There you can taste the "everything" part of the bagel and they are generous with the cream cheese. I decided to try here because it's on the way to the office but I think I'll stick to driving out of my way for a bagel and go to the Hot Bagel Shop or go to Starbucks in the lobby because their bagel was better than Golden Bagel as well.

::Really good bagels, and not by Houston standards, but by New England standards. And judging by how busy the place is, we are not the only family to think so. I went there right at opening time on a rainy Sunday and there were already a bunch of people there. We got poppy seed bagels, sesame seed bagels, and honey wheat bagels. The first one were so covered in poppy seed that was hard to see any dough surface. Sesame seed ones, my favorite were very good, pretty fluffy and not dry inside. Cream cheese is also very good.

::Best bagel I have had in a while! Of course it was well presented and I had a egg sandwich on the bagel, with cheese and bacon. Very tasty! Also really enjoyed the vanilla latte ( not overly sweet). Also reading reviews that complain about parking shouldn’t stray you away from coming here with time. The customer service is exceptional and hard to find that nowadays. Really nice clean space! Will be returning soon to try the lunch options!
