  I've been a member for 20 years now. The best bank and the best rates. Although we do need another branch in Bakersfield. Just moved from Sacramento where there are alot of branches. Bakersfield in the 14 zip would be appreciated. The branch locally is wonderful also. The staff are absolutely amazing and friendly. Beets Sac hands down on friendliness and efficiency.

  I've been a customer for years and Golden 1 has always been so helpful. We recently refinanced our loans with them with the assistance of Elizabeth Cruz. She was so nice and easy to work with. The process was a breeze. Thank you Elizabeth!!

  It’s been a month now and I still have not gotten a reply back on my auto refinance application after the lady there had already ran my credit! Save yourself the hassle find another credit union this one seems to be unprofessional. *UPDATE* I can’t reply to company under this comment. For those reading this I had already emailed them back and till this day still no reply back ! I went somewhere else I’m not wasting my time on a credit union who doesn’t care about it’s customers. I highly recommend Safe1

  I started banking with Golden 1 Credit Union in 1987. They have been wonderful working with. My checks have been automatically deposited from employment smoothly through retirement. Bakersfield branch has had several managers during this time, however, any problem or situation I have brought to their attention has always been mutually satisfied. I would just like to applaud the group in their now. Most tellers recognize me when I walk in. I am acquainted with the manager and it is an exceptional bunch of wonderful people who are working in the Bakersfield office. I am certain many will agree.
