  I never write reviews because I rarely grade on curve and I had read the reviews on this place and Avi but was of course still skeptical as There are 1000 stories of people being taken advantage of at gold/pawn stores. But Avi was all that’s been written about him and more - he is one of those rare honest, straightforward business people and that’s why I’m writing this review. And he didn’t even buy what I was selling as he knew he couldn’t give me the value of what it was worth but he gave me detailed instructions on how to sell on eBay and even offered to polish it up for me! Good guy! I’ll be back to his shop as there’s a great chess set I want to get for my son!!

  Leaving my name out for privacy however I had to go out of my way to leave a review which I barely ever do as I'm too busy or honestly don't care to, however this place and the very kind gentleman Avi had provided such a great service and my experience here was so worthy of my time let alone 5 stars I would put 10 if I could I just had to at least leave a review. I've been around practically every single jewelry store in the entire borough of Queens and this is definitely the go to staple spot. It is worth the travel if you aren't local, trust me on this.

  Great old school style pawn shop. I can't remember the last time I came across a pawnshop like this it had a full stock of all types of interesting things. Most of the stores you come across now that are calling themselves pawnshops are really just holes in the wall that buy and sell gold/ precious metals; this store has a full assortment of goods, and they offer Pawn as well as buying. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and the store is conveniently located with lots of parking nearby. This is definitely a place I would return to if I had something to sell or was looking for a unique gift that I might not be able to find in your average everyday new goods store
