  I grew up across the street from this park. They've done a beautiful job restoring it.

  This is a gem of a park, nestled at the foot of Goffle Hill in Hawthorne. The pathway meanders along the brook and there are playgrounds and picnic groves located throughout the park. Lots of wide open grassy areas and it wasn't too crowded, even on a Saturday afternoon.

  Maintain the pathway and odd exercise equipment and it wouldn't look so God awful. The improvements are great, but if they're just going to be abandoned it was kind of a waste. Commit to the project.
