My favorite Thai place other than Orchid Thai (downtown). Try the Drunken Noodles. Good food, good service, good location.

Great food and great service. They have halal chicken and shrimp chips. An important part of any meal Updated: Just got some Pad Thai it's not all that great still good but not great and the chicken was dry.

Really good fast food thai spot. Can be a long wait during peak hours, but food quality is consistent and there is seating as well as a cute bubble tea spot right next door. Great for picking up food after work or during lunch - big fan of the pad thai and drunken noodle

Refused to serve me after I mentioned I was buying a meal for a hungry homeless man. I asked if I could buy the meal for myself instead and they refused and said neither of us could be served anymore. I wasn't asking for anything outrageous. Just a plate of brown rice and vegetables. I was paying for the meal myself and said nothing more than "His order is on me" and was refused. Tried to just give him the cash to pay for the meal himself and was refused. It was blatant discrimination against a distressed older man and I can't imagine in any way it can be justified. I will absolutely NEVER be eating here again and made sure to tell everyone I know the story and they also assured me they wouldn't be eating there anymore after the incident.

Sy Thai is my new go to Thai place in Midtown. Not only are they fast and efficient they are also very knowledgeable in their food and how it's prepared along with the spice levels. If you want to go during lunch I would say get there around 11:30 or noon because it starts getting crowded quickly after that. I had pad pak with chicken and it was absolutely delicious and the portion size was excellent. I normally get a medium plus spice and it was plenty spicy.
