The food is great, in my opinion, some of the best in Chicago. We, however, did have a poor service experience while visiting this location which is the reason for the 3 star review. We were prepared for a longer wait (we were told 45 minutes) for deep dish pizza, but our pizza took over an hour and a half to arrive despite it being an early dinner (5:30 pm) and there being very few people in the restaurant. Also, our waiter only came back to check on us twice during that wait.

As usual, the pizza is amazing. Cheese sticks are a level above anything else. Good local beer and service is great! One note, you can't write on the walls like in other locations.

Bartender was really chill. Great atmosphere to kick back, have a few beers (or cocktails) and hang out. Pro tourist tip: if your hotel doesn't have a fridge or a microwave, this place does 9" deep dish pizza, so you will have little or no leftovers to take with you. It's way better than Giordanos, too.

If you like Chicago style pizza🍕, Gino’s is a must!! Whenever I visit the Windy City, this place is always on my list for places to eat. Wonderful location, friendly service, and atmosphere is totally outstanding! Sometimes you have to wait for your pizza up to 30 or 45 minutes, sit down relax have a couple beers 🍻 enjoy the moment and it’s totally worth the wait! Don’t be in a rush for amazing food like they have here at Gino’s.

We tried 3 different Chicago style pizzas on our trip and this was BY FAR my favorite. The crust is what sets it apart; it is not made with yeast so it doesn't have that doughy texture, which is good when paired with the heavy amount of cheese on a deep dish pie. The restaurant is big enough to accommodate large parties (we were 8) and is cost efficient; we shared 2 larges and it came out to 10 a person. Got an iton margarita which was very refreshing. The waiter also slices and serves the table which is nice.
