::I've been a loyal customer since the place first opened their doors. Not anymore. My wife and I went there on the Sunday night before Memorial day and the place was packed so we put our name on the list a decided to wait. We made our way to the bar and my wife ordered a glass of wine in the meantime the ladies sitting at the bar got called for a table so we sat in their seats. The bartender comes over and told us we cant sit there the seats are already reserved. I asked him since when do you reserve bar stools? He said it was for good customers. I guess I'm chopped liver only been going to the place over 25 years. Anyway I proceeded over to the manager and asked him since when do you reserve bar stools? He said we don't. So I explained what happened and he looked over and saw who was sitting in the seats and started making up some story about some people ask for whatever comes available first . Needless to say I told him to remove my name from the list we are leaving. In the meantime while we are waiting one the waiters came out to apologize and tell us a table became available for us . I guess mysteriously we jump over everyone else on the list . I told him not interested and we wont br back.

::The food was decent and the portion size was average, where I was seated was tight as the next table was extremely close. Also the window needed some type of shade as the sun was shinning in my friends face almost the entire meal. The decor is outdated and ugly, they need a makeover, I felt like I was in an upscale lunch room. Service was so so, it looked like our waitress had too many tables, so she passed us over trying too help serve other customers. I was visiting from out of town, I lived in Rockland before and can see why I only ate here once before. Overall my experience was okay, would I recommend the restaurant? My answer is, give it a try, maybe you might like it.

::Food was incredible. I love raw oysters and steamer pots and both were great. Could not believe how high the quality of the seafood, and the size of the portions was for the modest prices.

::Very slow service every time. Walls are filthy, as if they've never been wiped down. Splashes and splatter over the peeling wallpaper. Bread comes out, no drink order taken for 10 minutes. Menu had grouper. Ordered grouper. Waitress says "we haven't had grouper for many months". She says it with an attitude, like we should know. Well, if the menu were updated, or she had bothered to come out before we were here for twenty minutes and told us things like that, maybe the attitude wouldn't be necessary. That being said the food here is always delicious and the portions are very generous.
