::Our new gave Ethiopian place in DC (used to be Duke'em up the street... which is still excellent)! Three firsts tonight: 1) gomen besiga (collards and beef), 2) we didn't have to order more injera (they brought enough the first time), 3) no leftovers (they sized our probs perfectly)! Not super fancy but amazing where it counts (the food), and we've eaten Ethiopian at many different places. Completely recommended!!!

::I'm an Ethiopian native, and after visiting roughly a dozen Ethiopian restaurants in the DMV, I have no doubt Ghion serves the most delicious food in the area! Well seasoned, fresh, and not too oily! Every item - veggie or meat - is excellent. Do yourself a favor and try Ghion!

::Most amazing Ethiopian food I've ever had! Service was great, and our waitress was happy to recommend her favourite dishes. Every single thing we ate there (including the goat- which I was reluctant to order at first) was delicious!

::We had a great time with 9 guests, a few who were new to Ethiopian food, and we were glad Ghion was their first time! The vegetarian combo and lamb, goat, and beef dishes were great. They also have organic Ethiopian beer and honey wine.
