::I live in pearl river walking distance from my house and my brother and I were excited to try the new place out and we go in and went up to the bar and we were standing there for about 10 mins and nobody said hi to us or asked if we wanted anything. We were disappointed. I always give second shots if it was a bad service but if I don’t get acknowledged it’s over I will never go back so we ended up going to defiant right after and I got a beer in 2 seconds It’s a shame I thought I.T would be a new spot for me. Never going back again

::BBQ is great. The ribs, sliders and Alabama wings are awesome. Can’t wait for some beers to come out of this place.

::Ate here on a soft open with limited menu. We got there too late to try the ribs so we got a pulled pork platter and pulled pork sandwich and mac n cheese. The pulled pork was very good. Generous portion accompanied by a non-so-generous price point ($16). The Mac n cheese was disappointing. Picnic table seating. They had 4 beers on tap from Roscoe brewing. We spoke with the owner who was very nice. He said he plans to start brewing their own beer in a couple of weeks. They could give Defiant some major competition since they have a clearly superior BBQ product. I hope they take advantage of the bar scene and stay open late on the weekends. Looking forward to trying more sides, bbq and beer from GGBC. P.S. parking can be a challenge since it's only street parking. There is a parking lot down the hill a bit which may be a better bet at busier times.

::I'm not sure why someone (A Marie) would give a 1 star to a business that is literally being hand built nail by nail by the owner himself. Gentle Giant has worked many events in which people had the opportunity to eat this heavenly food. Keep up the great work and I can't wait until the location is open Great job Matt!!!

::A few months ago, I had the pleasure of trying some of their food (pulled pork, ribs, and several sides), and every single things was better than the last. The meat would be fantastic as is, but they really blew me away with the little something extra they'd add on top (peppers or onions, cheese, etc). I can't wait for the official opening so I can try all the official menu items!!!
