::Great salon! Great service! Corrina is the best, and Dylan does magic with hair color! Pay a little more but get absolutely satisfying service!

::I was a loyal customer to Gene Juarez for about 20 years. Recently, it seemed as if there had been many long term stylists leaving for other salons. At one recent appointment both my colorist and stylist quit within weeks of my appointment and I chose to go with two that I had not seen before. Huge mistake. The colorist bleached my hair white and my haircut was likely one I could have done better myself. I’ve spent a significant amount of money on products to repair the condition of my hair but the damage is done. The manager was great and offered to fix the color and gave me 50% off my next visit, which I will not be using. Sadly, the I feel there is a definite correlation between the experienced stylists leaving GJ and lack of experience and knowledge with the new(er) staff.

::Beauty isn't always easy, but at this adorable salon and spa it seems effortless! Staff feel so at ease & even happy to offer their services, even amidst all the bustling bodies. This place is popular! Bright, warm & inviting. They were accommodating even with a scheduling error (long story). My manicurist was fun & delightful. I met a transgender staff member who was charming which made me feel like the environment was accepting.

::I've been at the salon 3 or 4 times and my experience has been always really good. I had the color done with Ezra who was absolutely great and got exactly what I wanted. However, yesterday, I had an appointment at 5:15 p.m for my color with a different stylist, Nick. I was running 15 minutes late because traffic in Seattle with the Comic Con Festival was absolutely crazy. Usually it takes me about 10 minutes to get to the salon but yesterday it took me 45. I tried calling the place many times to let them know I was running late but I was put on hold a couple of times and I couldn't talk to anybody. When I arrived, the lady at the desk told me that they had to reschedule my appointment because there was no time for my service. I explained that I was running late because of the traffic, that I called before to let them know, and that what I really needed was to get my color done. I was fine leaving with not having my hair dried or styled, as I knew that we didn't have time for everything. I have an important meeting on Monday and needed my color done. The lady went inside to talk to the stylist and then came back 2 minutes after, saying that the stylist did not have time to do anything for me that day, so the only option that I had, was rescheduling for the following day or week. Seriously?? This was not the customer service that I was expecting. The stylist did not have time to do anything at all? Didn't even come out to explain it to me?? Not coming back here! Very dissapointed.

::By far, one of the best salons I've ever been to. Was able to get several services done and had a very relaxing morning. Refreshments are included and the whole experience feels luxurious. I liked that they provided robes as an option for the haircut. My haircut and style was excellent, they really ensure you have the best experience possible.
