  Jim & Gerry Salyer are the owners and who worked with us to have some family heirlooms repaired. If there is anything I love in the south it’s the southern hospitality, friendliness and being genuinely interested in you for more than your money. I can’t say enough great things about this business. They had a great variety of rings, the owners were incredibly knowledgeable who made the process fun and the turnaround time was faster than I could have wished for. I want to give Jim and Gerry a special thank you for all of their help over the roughly 2 hours getting our repairs. Great selection of fine jewelry! Helpful and courteous staff! I highly recommend this store! Whether its valentines, birthdays or any special event, I will continue to shop at Gem Source!

  We went to seven different Jewelers in two states and four cities and scoured the internet for the engagement ring we were looking for. We had found a picture of something close, but none of the stores we went to could get one. They all claimed to know what we were looking for (a very simple three-stone design with .75 ct center), but none of the rings they showed us were right and they were all v. expensive. One of the big chain stores in Lexington spent 30 minutes sketching out our design, but then never called us back. Then we found Jim at Gem Source. Not only did he immediately find us exactly what we wanted, he quoted us an excellent price for a higher quality than any of the other stores. Jim is extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and nice. We knew the first time we spoke to him that he was our jeweler. We will be returning to him for our wedding bands!
